Travel back in time with rarely seen footage of the 1950s Thornhill Gala and Agricultural Show, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon reliving local history. Highlights include the 1950 Gala Day, where Queen Helen Marchbank is crowned and the pipe band leads the parade through the streets, as well as the once-renowned Thornhill Agricultural Show (1950 & 1951) featuring a spectacular tableau parade. You’ll also spot glimpses of Old School Thornhill and the Fusi Cup Final on the playing fields.
