ASN Workgroup Coffee Morning
As part of the Youthwork programme at the OST, Lia has been teaching a small group of pupils at WHA how to make coffee and now they want to show off their skills! They are planning a special coffee afternoon to raise money for the group with a particular focus on activities to improve their mental health. This was the cause they chose and we are happy to support them. Please come along to the Community Room if you would also like to show support.

Rebecca Hill and Charlie Stewart are a harpist and fiddle player based in the thriving traditional music scene in Glasgow. Their debut album 'Thawcrook' recorded in 2022 seen them reach the finals of the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards ‘ComposeroftheYear’ category in 2023.
The pair experiment with contemporary compositional techniques, creating hypnotic themes and integrating large sections of improvisation within arrangements, bringing an off- the-cuff, conversational feel to their music.
They further develop this sound in their upcoming album, ‘Glas’.

The Ridge (Rehearsed Reading)
A world engulfed by water. A community holding back forces of evil. The power of stories to save us.
In a post-collapse landscape where former high ground has become islands, two migrants –mother and son – arrive at Autumn Ridge. They are welcomed in a way they haven’t previously experienced and learn how the community has built a sustainable and egalitarian
way of life.
This rehearsed reading of a script by Tessa Gordziejo, directed by Rod Dixon with a cast of professional and student performers, is part of a Support for Ambition award from Arts D&G and the first part of an exciting future project in Thornhill. Audiences are invited to join The
Ridge, hear its stories, find out more about the project and have an early input into its development.

OST Family Fun
Join us at the OST for an afternoon of fun filled with classes and workshops where everyone is welcome to take part! We will have live demos from Seishin Shotokan Karate Club, S.T.I.L.L Strong Gym Class, Katz Club Street and Hip Hop Dancing, The Wee Music Group and Beneath the Branches Forest School.
There will also be activities in the Youth Room and light refreshments.

Youth Coordinator Meet and Greet
Come along to the OST and meet Lia, our Youth Coordinator at the OST. Lia would love to welcome children and their families along to the youth room to meet her and get to know the plans for development of the space and to hear suggestions on what you would like to see happening here for families.
