Thornhill Place Plan

The Thornhill Place Plan was completed at the beginning of 2026 and will help guide community development in Thornhill over the next ten years. The plan brings together ideas, priorities and aspirations shared by local residents, organisations and community groups, helping to shape future projects and investment in the village.

The process was led by local consultancy Sleeping Giants, managed by Old School Thornhill (OST) Development Trust and funded by Thornhill Community Council. Through consultations, surveys and community drop-in sessions, people from across the community were invited to share their views on what matters most for Thornhill’s future.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed their ideas and feedback throughout the process. The completed Place Plan will now inform the work of the Old School Thornhill Development Trust and other community partners as they plan and deliver projects over the coming decade.
