OST Official Opening

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative individual to develop initiatives to promote health and wellbeing in our community (DG3) and co-ordinate a team of volunteers. The CVC will have local knowledge and have a compassionate, empathic and inclusive approach.

We have recently been awarded funds from the National Lottery ‘Awards for All’ to create and establish a small community garden.

On Friday we kicked off the OST Mural Project with Glasgow based artists Ursula Cheng.

During these strange and uncertain times it’s encouraging to see our community find so many positive ways to support each other.

We are looking for an Illustrator, visual artist or team to work with our community (DG3) to develop and deliver an ambitious mural project on the front windows of our 'Old School'.

We want to find ways to connect self-employed and small businesses across our community (DG3) so we can help each other.

Our plans to convert the former primary school in Thornhill into an centre for creative enterprise, design and community use took a big step forward last week.

 The Old School Thornhill Board of Trustees is seeking an experienced Project Manager to raise funding to help transform our ‘Old School’.

£144,000 has been awarded to Thornhill Collective to purchase the former Wallace Primary School in the village of Thornhill.

In January 2018, as part of our engagement, we commissioned a series of photographs documenting the current condition of OST.

We publicly launched our cause to buy and develop OST at the Thornhill Gala in 2017
