Did you know that making clothes can create a lot of fabric waste - sometimes up to 25%? But there’s a creative way to change that: zero waste fashion!
Join zero waste expert Cassandra Belanger for a hands-on workshop where you step into the role of designer and maker. In the morning session, you’ll create and decorate a mini paper model of a zero waste top - learning how smart design can eliminate waste from the start. In the afternoon session, you’ll take it a step further by drafting and beginning your own full-size zero waste top, using your own measurements.
Whether you're cutting, colouring or constructing, you’ll be part of a movement that proves fashion can be fun and sustainable. Let the zero waste fun begin!
