Michael Timmons is a songwriter from East Kilbride whose music is intimate, melodic and heartfelt. He has toured Europe and the UK with The Twilight Sad, featured at Celtic Connections and received acclaim for his multiple albums and EPs released on Gargleblast Records. 

For the last few years he has been collaborating with experimental and ambient electronic musician Yoker Moon. Yoker Moon's second album release of 2025, ‘In The Labyrinth of Your Love’ (Astral Discs) features 'organically growing intricate layers that envelop you in a sonic world that feels both cosy and expansive. There’s a shimmering quality to the sound, reminiscent of sunlight reflecting off water, inviting you to bathe in its warmth'.

Michael Timmons and Yoker Moon's single "Practice" (2023) was number 11 in The Herald’s top 100 tunes of the year.

Their cover of The Cure's "Trust" (2024) was publicly praised by Robert Smith of The Cure.
